We are a Christian organization, whose members and partners, are committed to be God’s “hands and feet” and actually do something on behalf of the poor and needy.

OUR COMMUNITY

We ARE Love Unlimited Christian Ministries Center, where Jesus is Lord and where His love flows. We are located on the south side of Chicago, Illinois.

HISTORY

We were officially organized on April 24, 1984 as a community choir (Love Unlimited Choral Ministry).  As time passed, we began to grow in popularity, as well as in numbers.  We toured various cities and states, singing about God’s wondrous works and other tasks, all aimed in building up the Kingdom of God.  

As the years passed, God added to the vision, resulting in a new name...

Love Unlimited Christian Ministries Center and expanded our goals.  

On September 3, 1998 we held our first service as a Church, committed to “seeking and saving that which was lost.”  More importantly, we became focused on teaching and applying Biblical Principles so we can live an abundant life through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. 

Pastor Wesley Hayden shepherded LUCMC from September 1998 until his death on March 9, 2021. His works and God’s vision are the foundation this Ministry continues to build and expand on. His wife, Demetria Hayden, a licensed and ordained minister, currently serves as the Pastor of LUCMC.

Love Unlimited Christian Ministries Center has expanded to include not only the Choral and Word Ministry but also LUCEI (Love Unlimited Continuing Education Institute), all for the glory of God and for the edification of those God has called to be members of the Body of Christ.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe:

That the Bible is the inspired, holy, infallible and authoritative word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible future return to Earth to receive to himself, His blood-bought church to forever be with Him.
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Christ.
That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

That the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, is given to believers who ask for it.
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit.  As He dwells within, He enables the Christian to live a holy lifestyle.

Love Unlimited Christian Ministry Center is dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and transforming communities by addressing the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—through education, training, discipleship, and the demonstration of God’s love.
